The Hires The Hires bring a wealth of educational, counseling and life experience to Bethel Ridge Family Resources. Both were previously married and have experienced the death of a spouse and the challenges of single parenting. In 1993, they courageously blended seven children (ages 10 to 22) into one family. The Hires have depended upon their faith to sustain them in their own struggles. It is their passion to serve and help others find solutions to life's problems. Gregg Hires Gregg Hires, BA Sociology, Masters Social Work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker has been in private practice since 1972. Gregg has been the Administrator and Clinical Director of the Flying H Youth Ranch and has worked with families and teens in crisis for the past 35 years. He had his formal training at Multnomah School of the Bible, Trinity College and the University of Missouri. Additionally, Gregg has had postgraduate studies in Chemical Dependency, Residential Treatment of Adolescence, Behavior and Anger Management and Psychological testing. Glenna Hires Glenna Hires, BA Family Studies and Education, Registered Counselor, has been a high school counselor and teacher working with teens and parents since 1973. She graduated from Central Washington University and has graduate studies in Family Counseling, Grief and Loss, Eating Disorders and Chemical Dependency. She currently is in private practice as a Family Specialist and serves as a Crisis Counselor with the Yakima Educational School District. Bethel Ridge Administrative Staff Julie Kautzman Julie works at our Aspen Park Office in Yakima. She joined our staff in December of 2009 and is the Office Manager for Bethel Ridge. She and her husband have three children. Her husband served a tour in Iraq defending freedom for all. Julie enjoys working with the Hires in a ministry that reaches out to those who are seeking change in their lives. She has been a blessing to our ministry and is an awesome asset as she serves our clients.
The Rabourns Bob and Debbie Rabourn joined the ministry of Bethel Ridge in September of 2010. For 28 years they lived, worked and volunteered in many ministries in their church and town of Shelton, WA. They have 3 grown sons and one daughter and 6 grandchildren. Bob managed a gated community of 250 homes and Debbie worked in a church office and ran a tee shirt business in her home. They both bring college, work and life experience to their positions at Bethel Ridge. Bob serves as our General Manager and Debbie is our Director of Guest Services. They both feel blessed to be a part of God's working in people's lives here at Bethel Ridge. They have been a huge encouragement to us as we serve along side them.
